Winona was born December 3, 1936, at Hartshorne, OK, to Raymond and Evadena Florence (Grammar) Price. She was raised in Hartshorne until the family moved to Fall River, Kansas. It was here that she met the love of her life Bobby C. Brown. They were united in marriage on January 14, 1954, in Fall River, KS. Following their marriage, they lived in San Diego, CA while he finished his tour with the Navy. They returned to Fall River where he worked as a cowboy on several ranches in NE Oklahoma and SE Kansas. In the mid 1970's, Bob obtained his license as a minister in the Pentecostal Holiness Church and pastored in Pawhuska, Fairfax, Wynona and Osage, OK. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2007. In November of 2008, Winona married Dave Kimber, making their home in Pawhuska. He also preceded her in death on June 9, 2019. Winona loved being a Pastor's wife, raising her children and grandchildren, cooking meals for the cowboys and hosting tent revivals. She also enjoyed crocheting, making some of the most beautiful things with her hands, yarn and crochet hook. On road trips, you could always count on her to be crocheting. Winona also enjoyed coloring and especially reading her Bible. Winona had two dogs - Dixie and Sadie; and a cat Mya that she dearly loved.
Those that survive and hold many cherished memories are her children - Stanley Brown and Lahoma Pearce; a brother James Price; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
