Theresa Jewell Wilson

December 23rd, 1961- August 6, 2025

Theresa Wilson, also known to many as MaMa T, passed away peacefully in Bartlesville Oklahoma, surrounded by her children and grandchildren on Wednesday August 6th.

Theresa always had a way of making you feel special. She had a spark about her and people would just gravitate towards her. She cared deeply for those she loved. She was always willing to help anyone out. She was family oriented, loved her children very much, as well as her grandchildren. Theresa was a loving mother. Theresa was loved by many, and will be greatly missed. She was an amazing woman.

In Theresa's younger years she enjoyed mountain biking with her younger brother William (Willie), they would ride the bikes down to the river to go fishing.

Theresa also enjoyed cooking. Even at a young age she would experiment with food, this leading to her still trying new recipes for her family to try in her adult years.

Theresa eventually met Bob Wilson. They got married in Reno, Nevada on April 20th, 1985. They enjoyed a life in California and eventually having 3 children together. Theresa spent much of her life in California, but eventually they moved to Hominy, Oklahoma in 1998 to be closer to family.

Theresa enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes that she would find in cook books or online. She enjoyed cooking holiday dinners and was the best at making enough dinner to feed an army. Christmas was always one of the best holidays. One of Theresa's best Christmas dishes she had made was lasagna.

Theresa enjoyed a wide range of hobbies including singing, she had a voice of an angel

Proceeded in death are Theresa's mother and father, Edith Matlock and William Wallen. Siblings are Ronnie, Della and Katina.

Survived by her Children: Tanya Covington and husband Nicholas Covington. Son Robert Wilson and wife Alyssa Wilson. Daughter Kyla Wilson.

8 grandchildren: Payton, Ashton, Roxxanne, Paisley, Brantley, Penelope, Jaxon, and William.
