Obituary

Theresa Kathleen Dean (Warner) was born September 26, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles Edward Warner, Jr. and Marion Louise (Owens) Warner. She grew up with her brothers, Charles Thomas Warner, Gary Warner and sister, Jenny Warner DeHaas. Theresa grew up in the Tulsa area attending Central High School and graduated in 1969. She loved art, especially drawing. Theresa was even accepted to an art school for fashion design. She ended up attending Northeastern Oklahoma College in Miami where she was part of the North Star dance team.

Theresa married in 1970 and had two children, Erick and Martha Lynn. In 1975, she married Gary Dean and they had one daughter, Nichole. Theresa was a wonderful mom, and she loved her children greatly.

Theresa started her career at St Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, first in social work and ending up in security. She worked for several other places and had many different types of roles including Parker Drilling, St. Francis, OU Tulsa and within the Osage Nation where she retired from medical billing.

Theresa loved and adored her grandchildren and great grandchild. They brought her so much joy and were the loves of her life. Next to her family, she absolutely loved to shop. She was very fashion-minded and always looked classy. She was active within her Osage Tribe. In her younger years, she loved to dance with the tribe. She was an avid OU fan, especially football, and loved the Kansas City Chiefs. She was always up for a road trip.

For the last 15 years, she enjoyed being with her significant other, Pat Wright. Theresa loved participating in her grandchildren’s events. Christmas was her holiday. She loved to shower people with gifts, (well at least the grands). Theresa also loved spending time with her extended family.

Theresa Kathleen Dean passed from this life on Friday, May 22, 2026, at home. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Theresa is survived by her children, Erick Fox and Nichole Dean, her significant other, Patrick Wright, her sister, Jenny DeHaas, and brother, Tom Warner, grandchildren Sage Fox, Chezdon Bisonette, Alanna Miller, Trent Worley and great granddaughter, Addie Mae Fox. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles Warner and Marion Warner, daughter Martha Lynn Fox, and brother, Gary Warner.
