Sharon Gail Cotner Beaver was born on March 5, 1960 in Altheimer, Arkansas to Dave Cotner and Virginia Cullum Cotner. She passed from this life on Friday, July 11, 2014 in Stillwater, Oklahoma having reached the age of 54 years, 4 months, and 6 days. She married Eddie Beaver on September 10, 1982 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and they moved to Fairfax Oklahoma after Eddie’s retirement from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol so they could be near their grandchildren. Sharon’s greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandchildren, and her husband, Eddie. She also loved sitting on her front porch and watching all the different birds that came to the many bird feeders she had in her yard. She also loved taking care of her two dogs, and two cats. Sharon is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Eddie of Fairfax Oklahoma; her daughter, Shannon Sinclair and Pete of London, Arkansas; three stepdaughters, Sondra and Brian Lytle of Fairfax, Brandie and Jody Tapp of Ponca City, and Kari Hawthorne of Edmond; three brothers, Gary and Jeanie Cotner of Checotah, Oklahoma; Phil Cotner and Kerry Cotner of Brady, Texas; and Johnny and Angie Cotner of Bauxite, Arkansas and; sister, Shelly Cotner and Michelle Lindsey of Morrilton, Arkansas; six grandkids, Megan and Madison Lytle, Drake and McKenna Tapp, Kate Hawthorne, and Zenderly Sinclair, plus numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Virginia Cotner. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 18, 2014 at Plumerville Cemetery, Plummerville, Arkansas, where she will be laid to rest next to her parents, under the direction of Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home, Morrilton, Arkansas.
