Ruby E. Grimm Obituary Ruby E. Grimm age 86 of Cleveland, Oklahoma passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at Cimarron Pointe Nursing Home in Mannford, Oklahoma. Ruby was born September 20, 1927 to Dean L. and Audine (Brown) Gray at Lanagan, Missouri. She spent her early childhood in Maple City, Kansas and Winfield, Kansas. She graduated in 1947 from high school at Howard, Kansas. Ruby married Howard Cook Sr., October 26, 1948 in Arkansas City, Kansas. They raised Harold V. Jr., Bill, Judy and Paula. They retired to a country home at Osage, Oklahoma in 1986. After Harold passed away in 1996 she moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma and married Melvin Grimm on November 26, 2004. Ruby was an active member of the Cleveland Nazarene Church. She loved to make baby quilts and sew crafts. In Kansas she served as a Red Cross Volunteer and sold Tupperware and was active in her children's school activities. She also loved to fish. She is survived by sons, Vernon Cook of Drummonds, TN, Bill Cook and wife Kathy of Arkansas City, KS; daughter Judy Proctor and husband Alvin of Osage, OK; 2 grandsons: Tony Proctor and wife Michelle, Jeff Cook and wife Cami; granddaughter: Valerie Proctor; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren; also 2 brothers: Willis Gray and wife Gloria, Ed Gray and wife Carolyn, 4 sisters: Betty Webber and husband Al, Barbara Burrell and husband Rex, Pat Proctor and husband Vernon, and Rosemary Floyd and husband Larry. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, husbands: Harold and Melvin, daughter: Paula, grandson: Greg, brothers: Roy and Paul Gray. Funeral Services for Ruby was Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Nazarene Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma with Rev. Michelle Proctor and Rev. Steve Brown officiating. Pall Bearers were Jeff Cook, Tony Proctor, Ethan Proctor, Tom Grimm, John Grimm and Don Grimm. Music selection was a congregational hymn; "Victory in Jesus", with the pianist being Liz Rainwater. Interment was Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City, Kansas.
