Opal Hatfield Wichita

Opal A. Wichita was born on June 2, 1921 at the base of Klan Hill in Pawnee, Oklahoma to D. C. Hatfield and Bertha Moses Hatfield. She passed from this life on Sunday, October 20, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma having reached the age of 92 years, 3 months, and 18 days. She moved to Pawnee from Monrovia, California in 1938 and was affiliated with the United Methodist Church. She married E. S. Wichita on May 26, 1962 in Newkirk, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on September 22, 2002. Opal is survived by her children, Billy, Dana, Kathrine and John, and her grandchildren, Russell, Cassandra, Sylvia, Natallie, Kyla, David, Angel, Samantha, Kristy, Shylah, Zacheriah, Zenetta, Jennifer, Jamie, Ashley, Dustin, Justin, and Cody. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2013 at the South Indian Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma, with Rev. Cecil Riding In officiating.
