Nathan David Sparks Obituary Nathan David Sparks, age 56 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Nathan was born October 9, 1956 to Nathan David and Florene (Sparks) Crawford in Hominy, Oklahoma. Nathan attended Hominy Public Schools were he was active in sports. He attended Ada East Central University for 2 years. He has lived in Hominy his whole life. Nathan was a member of Pipeline 798 Union. Nathan favorite thing was fishing, he was a wonderful artist and loved drawing, singing, and he enjoyed watching sports also. Nathan had many friends and tried to get along with everyone. He is survived by his Mother: Florene of the home; 4 brothers: Ricky Edward Butler, Terry Lamont Sparks, Kevin Roy Sparks and Anthony Darrell Sparks all of Hominy. 2 daughters: Tammy Watley of Denton, Texas and Karen Chevell Sparks of Hominy. He also had 2 grandchildren: Nathaniel Sparks and Jayden Watley; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. Nathan was a member of The Church of God in Christ in Hominy. Nathan was preceded in death by his father, Nathan David Crawford. A Memorial Service for Nathan will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Sutton officiating. Music selections were "Stand" (taped) by Donnie McClurkin and "I'll Fly Away" by Doris Hudson. The family would like to thank everyone for the cards, food and prayers. Thank you all and God Bless.
