Millard Wayne Arnold

Millard Wayne Arnold was born on October 16, 1956, in Springdale, Arkansas to Cecil Verly and Frances Lela Arnold. Wayne grew up with three sisters and two brothers. Wayne grew up in the Pawnee area where he enjoyed bullying his siblings, hiding from parents so not to get his butt whipped, building motors, racing cars and camping. He loved to stir up crap with people just to get laughs. He graduated from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs in 1974. His degree was “In knowing it all, all the time.”

Wayne and Lou got married on December 31, 1977, in Miami, Oklahoma. They have been together for over 47 years raising their family and taking care of each other. Wayne stole Lou from another boy, when he showed up at the house and told her she was going with him, he dropped the other boy off at his house after making him ride in the back of the truck. Wayne loved to provoke people, especially Lou, he would get her all stirred up and then she would chase him around the house with whatever she could get her hands on.

Wayne started out in the lawn business but became a general contractor and worked all over Oklahoma. He loved going to families or to the bar and having fun. Wayne always chased the fire trucks when he heard the sound. He wanted to know what was going on. Wayne loved hunting season, but nothing got in the way when it came to Nascar. He watched every race. He could build anything you asked him to build. He always checked to see who went to jail that week.

Wayne loved being with his family, but still loved to be onery with them. Millard Wayne Arnold passed from this life on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Hillcrest South.
