Meredith Josephine Patterson Smith

Meredith Josephine (Patterson) Smith, 74 years of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Meredith was born in Vinita, Oklahoma on March 9, 1945 to parents Freeman Levi and Mildred Jo (Thompson) Patterson.

She was legal assistant for Hall Estill and then New Dominion for 37 years. After retirement, she continued as a contract legal assistant closely with Fred Buxton before and after retirement.

Meredith is survived by: spouse, R.C. Smith; step-son Michael Scott and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Brandon, Stephen and Audrey; nephew, James Walker Smith; step-brother, Larry Dean; “Princess Sunflower” Cindy Spezia the light of fluffe life.

Meredith is preceded by: parents, Millie Patterson and Pat Patterson; and a child at birth.
