Mary Louise Clark

June 6, 1936 — June 19, 2014

Mary Louise Clark, 78 years, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2014, surrounded by the ones she laughed with, lived for, and loved on-at Ambassador Manor Nursing Home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Louise was born June 6, 1936, in Artesia, Eddy County, New Mexico to Vee and Edna Virginia (Carroll) Thorp. She graduated from Artesia High School in 1954. In 1955, she married the love of her life, Bill Clark. She worked for the Osage County Farm Bureau Office as a Manager for 32 years and previously worked as telephone operator for Mountain Bell. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene and was an active member in the community. She loved going to church, listening to music, gardening, walking, and riding bicycles. She was an amazing seamstress and loved to make clothes for her granddaughters and lap pads for the ones in nursing homes. Her generous heart filled her home with love, fun, family and friends, including an attitude that there was always room for one more. She leaves all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family, with the knowledge that they were truly loved and they know that she loved the Lord.
