Mary Joann Killingsworth

Mary JoAnn Killingsworth, 66 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 12, 2018.

JoAnn was born on July 24, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Wayne and Betty Lou (Graham) Rogers. She attended and graduated from Sapulpa High School. JoAnn moved to Hominy in 1975 and then worked for Arkla Gas for 15 years. Later, JoAnn worked as the Office Manager for Dick Conner Correctional Center for 21 years and attended The Church of the Nazarene. JoAnn liked arts and crafts and was an artist in her own right, painting in oils. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening and loved her pets and fish tank.

JoAnn is survived by: her husband, Don Killingsworth of the home; 1 son: Brad Hand and his wife, Janice, of Guthrie, OK; 1 daughter: Amy Hand, of Hominy, OK; 5 grandchildren: Ashley Mayo, Alycia Mayo, Josh Mayo, Jared Hand and Logan Hand; 2 step-sons; Billy Killingsworth and his wife, Olga, of Newcastle, OK, Cody and his wife, Barbara, of Agra, OK; 2 brothers: Ronnie Rogers and his wife, Yukata, of Houston, TX, Gary Rogers and his wife, Donna, of Glenpool, OK; several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

JoAnn is preceded in death by: her parents; her 1st husband, Mike Hand; and 3 brothers: Bill Rogers, Jack Rogers and Larry Rogers.

Memorial services were at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the Church of the Nazarene in Hominy with the Pastor Carl Brown officiating. Musical selections were: "Gathering Flowers for the Master's Bouquet", "I come to the Garden Alone" and "Good Night My Darling".
