Obituary

Mary Martha (Pryor) Frazier, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother – passed away on January 23, 2026, at Covenant Living at Inverness, Tulsa OK, at the age of 93. She now joins her husband of 56 years, William (Bill) Frazier who preceded her in death in 2009. She was a proud member of the Osage Tribe, Hominy District, whose Osage name was Me-tsa-he of the Bear Clan.

Mary Martha was born in Hominy, Oklahoma on March 19th, 1932, to Alfred “Buster” Pryor, whose Osage name was Ma-u-heh, and Dallas (Christley) Pryor Kemohah. Her paternal grandparents Antwine Pryor, whose Osage name was Me-ki-wah-9-an-kah, and Martha Pryor Oberly, whose Osage name was Hun-kah-me-tsa-he; maternal grandparents Dite and Mary Ellen Christley.

Mary Martha graduated from Hominy High School in 1950. During her high school years she was football queen in 1948, Buck Queen in 1950 and Prettiest Girl in 1948, 1949 and 1950. She attended Oklahoma College for Women at Chickasha, Oklahoma where she pledged Be Si Ta social club and attended Northeastern State College at Tahlequah, Oklahoma where she pledged Sigma Sigma Sigma social sorority. She also worked for Phillips in Bartlesville, Oklahoma for a brief period.

Mary Martha and Bill were united in marriage on January 1, 1953, in Huntsville, Arkansas. They made their home in Hominy and raised their family. After Bill retired, they lived in

Prattville, Oklahoma for several years. They were both active members of the First Baptist Church in downtown Tulsa. Bill was an avid golfer, and Mary Martha took up the game so they could spend time together. She got pretty good at the game practically overnight. They enjoyed their time at Tulsa Country Club and being with her family was most important, especially during the holidays.

She is survived by two daughters Beverly Wright and husband John of Midland, Texas and Debra Endress of Broken Arrow, OK, one son Steve Frazier and wife Jolie of Yukon, OK. Four grandchildren Jeff Wright and wife Beth of Coalgate, OK, Lesley Good of Andrews, TX, and Erin McCoy and husband Drew of Tucson, AZ, and Jordan James of Carrollton, TX, also seven great-grandchildren Thomas Wright of Oklahoma City, OK, Graisyn and Brycen Good of Andrews, TX, Rilyn McCoy of Tucson, AZ, and Laney and Macey Brown of Coalgate, OK. She leaves behind three nieces Pam (Brad) Taft, of Scottsdale, AZ, Rhonda Lacy, Scottsdale, AZ and Cindi (Chris) Hamre of Anchorage, AL and nephew Kyle (Kay) Pryor of Ardmore, OK along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members who will deeply miss her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather Donald Lee Kemohah, grandson Justyn Blaine Endress, brother Antwine Pryor and sister Irene Haney Jager. Her Aunt Susie Pryor West Crawford CraD, three nephews William David Haney, Mark Pryor and Matthew Haney.

The family would like to thank InCare Services and all the caregivers who were always there for her throughout the years at Covenant Living at Inverness and the entire staff at Heather Hall and Suncrest Hospice. SERVICES

Visitation and viewing will begin at noon to 7:00pm on Wednesday, January 28th at Powell’s Funeral Home.

Traditional Indian services will begin at 9:00 AM on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at the Hominy Indian Village Chapel with John Maker officiating.

Church services will follow at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at the Hominy Indian Village Chapel with The First Baptist Church officiating

A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Steve Frazier, John Wright, Jeff Wright, Thomas Wright, Brycen Good and Kyle Pryor.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Carl Core of Pawhuska, OK, Joseph “Sonny” Abbott of Tulsa, OK and Ronald Delong of Hominy, OK.

The traditional Indian feast will conclude the events at the Hominy Indian Village Community Building.

Arrangements are under the direction of Powell Funeral Home.
