Louis Sparks

Louis James Sparks was born March 6th, 1943, at his home in Hominy Oklahoma to Freddie Sparks and Maggie Lopez. He was the 10th child born out of 22 children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing as a child, and most of his adult life. He joined the Army National Guard and served for four years. After he served, Louis then went to work in the oil field for several years. Later Louis worked for Hominy Nursing Home, Munsingwear, the City of Hominy, and his last job was Green Country Manufacturing. Louis James Sparks passed from this life on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Porta Caeli Hospice House.

Louis Sparks is survived by his daughter Jamie Higgins, and his 3 boys Louis Sparks, Willie Higgins, and Charlie Higgins; eleven grandchildren; three sisters Leoma Sparks, Fredricka Sparks, Juanita Gilkey, one brother, Glenn Humphrey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maggie López, Freddie Sparks, his sisters and brothers.
