Lewella June McEntire Fannin, 85 years, of Reno, Nevada, passed away peacefully on November, 02, 2018 after a four month battle with cancer; after living an active and eventful life, traveling most of the world, and living in Oklahoma, Kansas, California, Arizona, Texas, Oregon, and Nevada.
June, as she was known to her family and friends, was born in Wynona, Oklahoma on October 10, 1933 to Calvin and Virgie (Cassels) McEntire. June graduated from Hominy High School in Hominy, Oklahoma in 1951, and went on to earn her Associates Degree in Gerontology in Sacramento, California.
June was married to the love of her life, Billy Fannin, for 68 years. Together they had three daughters, six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by twin sister: Lowella Jean McEntire Hudsonpiller and her sister, Irene McEntire Weber.
June was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Funeral services were held graveside at 3:00 PM, Friday, November 9, 2018 at the A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy. Pastor Wayne Brown of Antioch Christian Fellowship Church in Wynona, officiated.
