Lelah Bernice Gibson

Lelah Bernice Gibson, 95 years, of Osage, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at the Glenwood Nursing Home in Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Lelah was born on December 22, 1921 to Pearl and Mae (Shoemaker) Partridge in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and moved to Osage in the early 1990s. She attended the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Osage and was a commercial seamstress sewing drapes for stages and school curtains. Lelah married Raymond Leon Gibson and her passed away on January 16, 1989.

Lelah is survived by: 3 sons: Marion Gibson and his wife, Kelly, of Jenks, OK, David Gibson of Osage, OK and James Gibson and his wife, Barbara, of Mounds, OK; 2 daughters: Linda Johnson and Mary Jackson, both of Helena, OK; 9 grandchildren: James Joseph, Michael Marion, David Leon, Jr, Amy Coulter, John, Joe, Mindy, Kevin and Alton; numerous great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, George Eichelburger of Redding, CA.

Lelah is preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, and her sister, Pearl Raymond.

The graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 27, 2017 at Osage Cemetery in Osage, Oklahoma with James Gibson officiating. Kelly Gibson and Tim Bolt will be vocalists.
