Katy Frances Butts

Katy Frances Ikenberry Butts, 68, from Wynona, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022. Memorial Services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Powell Home in Hominy Oklahoma.

Katy was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on December 29, 1953. She went to Wynona Public Schools kindergarten to her senior year. She was also the first graduating class at Tri-County Tech for cosmetology.

Katy married her husband, Rodger Lynn Butts on May 25, 1972. They made their home in Wynona, Oklahoma. They shared 49 years together celebrating the anniversary in May 2021. Together they had 3 daughters: Kelly from Massachusetts, Sherry from Kansas City, and Kristen from the home.

Katy will be missed by her family and friends. We know she is resting peacefully in the arms of our precious savior.

Katy loved being involved with all of her daughter’s 4-H and round-up club activities and projects. She was a beautician by trade but retired from the jewelry department at the Bartlesville Oklahoma Walmart. Her hobbies included collecting Barbie Dolls and going antiquing.
