Juanita Marilyn (Baker) Dvorak was born on July 29, 1925, in Schenectady, New York. She was the daughter of Judd Oral and Eunice Marie (Fortner) Baker. Juanita passed from this life on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, in Pawnee, Oklahoma reaching the age of 89 years six months and twenty days. Juanita was united in marriage to Charlie Dvorak on November 20, 1949. Following their marriage the couple moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma. In 1971, Juanita and Charlie moved to Glencoe, Oklahoma. Juanita was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stillwater, Oklahoma. She enjoyed teaching math to her students, crocheting, putting puzzles together and playing the piano. Juanita is survived by two sons Kendal Dvorak and his wife Ginny of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Jud Dvorak and his wife, Barbara of Stillwater, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild: Mike and Kendra Castleberry and their daughters, Kylie and Keilee of Perry, Oklahoma; Timmy and Melissa Dvorak and their daughters, Jaylee and Finlee of Pawnee, Oklahoma; Adam and Amber Grant and their son, Cagle of Perkins, Oklahoma; Cory and Lindsay Barrett and their daughters, Kynzie and Ava of Pawnee, Oklahoma ; Jared Dvorak of Leadville, Colorado; Nick Dvorak and Gayla of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Nelson Dvorak of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Cameron and Jade Pitts and their son, Jase of Morrison, Oklahoma; plus a number of other relatives and many friends. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Dvorak; one brother Kenneth Baker; her parents, Judd and Eunice Baker as well as a great-granddaughter Addyson Barrett. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 21, 2015,at the Poteet Funeral Home Chapel in Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Larry Calvert officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma under direction of Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
