Jerry (Junior) Eldon Stevens Jr., Obituary On July 18, 2009 the Lord called Junior Stevens, age 17 of Hominy home to be with Him after a short-term illness of heart failure. On August 7, 1991 the Lord blessed Tina and Jerry with the birth of Junior at Lawton, Oklahoma. Junior attended Hominy Public Schools getting ready to begin his senior year. He loved 4 wheeling, especially at the lake; his pride and joy was his truck. He loved his family and enjoyed his friends. He was a member of the Comanche Tribe, the Pentecostal Church of Lawton and Chris Gabriels Paintball Ministry at the Prue Assembly of God Church. Junior is survived by his parents Tina Lynn and Jerry Eldon Stevens, Sr., of the home. One brother Phillip Stevens and wife Miranda of Hominy; three nieces- Rylee, Kaylynn and Shelbi Stevens; one nephew- Royal Poafabitty of Lawton, Oklahoma; Paternal Grandparents- Joan and Philip Stevens of Hominy; Maternal Grandparents- Imogene and John Moss of Corvallis, Oregon. Aunts- Debra Carroll, Kim and Scott Ahdosy, Kathy Denney all of Cache, Oklahoma; Uncles- John and Crystal Carroll, Joseph and Marcee Carroll, Lance Denio all of Cache and Anthony Denio of Lake View, Oregon, Ronnie Stevens of Hominy, Dena and Nora Asenap of Cache, Oklahoma, Mike Benson of Lawton, Oklahoma, Donna and Terry Knowles; Cousins- Colby, Justice and Katy of Hominy; Shaun, Shane, Clint, Soren, Kyle, Blaine, Chase, Sasha, Chasity, Chance, Joey, Brandon, Graydon, Nicole, Ann, Kristen, Matthew, Jared, Jeremiah, Marcus and Joshua all of Cache; Carrie and Ryan of Lawton; and Ariel of Michigan; his special brother Clayton Hudson and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his Maternal great grandparents John and Nora Tahah; great grandparents Ruby and Eldon Morrison and Paternal grandfather Joseph Thomas Carroll II. A prayer service will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hominy High School old gym. His funeral service will be Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hominy High School old gym with Pastor Chris Gabriel of the Assembly of God Church, Prue and Pastor Jim Crain of Calvary Apostolic Church, Skiatook. Casket bearers were Clayton Hudson, Perry Badley, Trey Badley, Bryce Krushe, Ryan Reed and Chris Edwards. Honorary casket bearers Jerry Stevens (Dad), Phillip Stevens (Brother), John and Joseph Carroll. Interment was in the A.J. Powell Cemetery. Arrangements were made with Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
