Frank William Lyons Obituary Frank William Lyons, 68, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away April 14, 2008 at Cleveland, Oklahoma. Frank was born to Albert and Helen (Nagy) Lyons on March 29, 1940 in New Haven, Connecticut. He graduated from Hamden High School in 1959, went on to college and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Frank married Jeanette R. Haley on October 18, 1978 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He served in the U.S. Navy. He had lived in Nevada and New Mexico before moving to Hominy in September of 2007. He was retired from the New Mexico State Mental Hospital as Director of Food Services. He had a good sense of humor and loved to tease people. He was a great salesman and loved going to the flea markets. He is survived by a daughter Lisa Smiley of the home; a brother Walter Lyons of Hamden, Connecticut; two sisters Peggy Vanacore of Connecticut and Ann Pendred of North Carolina; an aunt Betty Tucker of Connecticut; two granddaughters Dixie and Kaitlyn Smiley of Hominy. His parents, wife Jeanette and a sister precede him in death. Private family services are planned. Arrangements made with the Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
