Donald Kenneth Baker Obituary Donald Kenneth Baker, age 92 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away March 7, 2010 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Donald was born May 20, 1917 to Ralph and Belva (Johnson) Baker in Great Falls, Montana. Donald graduated from Barnsdall Public Schools. He served four years in the United States Air Force. He was a long-time Ponca City and Hominy resident. Donald worked for twenty four years for Conoco in the Lab in Ponca City, Oklahoma before retiring. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Hominy and Barnsdall and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Donald is survived by a niece- Joyce Sisson of Hominy, Oklahoma; three nephews- Kenneth Baker of Dewey, Oklahoma, John Bogert of Springfield, Missouri and Ralph Bogert of Toronto Ontario Canada; several great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother- Oscar Baker and sister- Helen Bogert. Funeral Services were Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Eldridge of Pawhuska officiating. Music selections were How Great Thou Art and The Old Rugged Cross . Pall Bearers were Lafe Burnett, Gary Fry, Larry Stuart, Glenn Henderson, John Cartwright and Perry Dewitt. Interment was in the A.J. Powell Cemetery with Powell Funeral Home making the arrangements.
