In Loving Memory of Christal Rene Weavel

Christal Rene Weavel, age 55, of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Christal was a free spirit with a larger-than-life personality. She was outgoing, funny, and always knew how to have a good time. Those who knew her will remember her infectious sense of humor, her generous heart, and the way she was always willing to lend a helping hand. When someone needed her, Christal was there.

She had a special talent for making the most out of what she had. She knew how to stretch a dollar, and she could turn simple ingredients into something special. Christal was an amazing cook and baker, and many will fondly remember the love she put into the food she made and shared with others.

Christal worked with Osage Nation Human Resources and later as an Event Coordinator with Osage Casino. She brought her own unique personality and sense of humor to her work and to the people she worked alongside.

Christal was a loving mother, sister, bonus mother, aunt, and friend. She leaves behind her daughter, Ravyn Dawn StrikeAxe; her sons, Christopher Michael Weavel, Matthew StrikeAxe Guinn, and Mason James Guinn; and her bonus child, Macy Mashunkashey Piearcy. She is also survived by her siblings, BJ Smith, Johnny Smith, Wren Weavel, Cody Weavel, and Ryder Weavel, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will carry her memory with them.

Christal was preceded in death by her father, Rene Weavel; her mother, Francis Weavel; her maternal grandmother, Bertha Marie Burnett; and her maternal grandfather, Red Reynolds.

Christal leaves behind a lifetime of laughter, memories, good food, stories, and moments that will be remembered by everyone who knew and loved her. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her spirit, laughter, and memories will live on through her children, family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
