Charles Lee Bottger, Jr passed from this life on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Alliance Health Center in Ponca City, OK.

Lee was born on March 1, 1969, in Portsmouth Virginia to Charles Lee and Violet Mary (Nevius) Bottger, SR. Lee is part of a sibling group of three – younger brother, Eddie and younger sister, Paula. As Lee was growing up, he enjoyed 4-H (showing pigs and horses), FFA and playing baseball. Lee graduated from Marland High School in 1987 and was valedictorian. After high school, Lee went into the Naval Reserves. Lee attended the OSU Tech.

Lee was employed as a Computer Tech Person working in IT with WorldCom, MCI, and Lucent. He also worked for ten years in the Home Inspections Industry. Lee taught at the Vo-Tech. Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, swimming, water-skiing, and scuba-diving. If you had to use a few words to describe Lee, it would be onery, a prankster, and always ran late.

Lee loved his family, being the father of eight children and seven grandchildren. Lee married Shelley Magee on April 1, 2022, after being together for five years. The last few years Lee has had a rough time with his health.

Charles Lee Bottger, Jr was survived by his wife, Shelley of the home. His eight children – Dylan, Kaleb, Katie, Brayden, Landon, Trevor, Connor, and Evan. Seven grandchildren – Destiny, Lilleigh, Brooklyn, Landon, RJ, Rorrik, Talia Grace. His parents – Charles & Violet; His brother Eddie and sister Paula. Numerous other family members. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents and a brother-in-law, Tommy Deel.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, August 26, 2022, at the First Christian Church in Hominy, OK. Arrangements and services are in the care of Powell Funeral Service, Hominy, OK
