Bo David Bowman was born on January 10, 1974, in Tulsa Oklahoma to Wayne Bowman and Janice Dana Anderson. He grew up in the Mannford area where he attended school. He graduated from Mannford high school where he played football and baseball. Bo worked as a welder, spending ten years with Crane Carrier, and then worked for Trinity Wind Towers where he was a supervisor.
Bo loved to be at Keystone Lake and that is where he met Jamie Jackson. They fell in love and married on October 15, 2005. Together they worked hard raising their five children. Bo’s life was all about his family. There was nothing more important to him than his family. Bo was all about having good times and being with those he loved. He loved to hunt deer, catch fish, ride his motorcycles, and drink beer. Going camping, boating, and hanging out at the lake made his day complete. Traveling was another thing that Bo enjoyed; taking a cruise to Mexico or the Bahamas, going to Texas Motor Speedway and watch Nascar or going to Playa del Carmen with his lady – it all brought him joy. Bo loved being with his two grandkids, they were the highlight of his day. It always brought a big smile to his face when they came in the door. Last weekend, Bo was teaching his 3-year-old grandchild, Addy how to snorkel. Bo had his constant companion, Tank, whom he adopted from a rescue. Tank and Bo were always together. He liked the cat, Maybelle, too.
Bo passed from this life on Monday, July 17, 2023, in his home. He was 49 years old. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bo is survived by his wife, Jamie Bowman; his sons Bo David Bowman Jr (Morgan), Dakota Cash Bowman, Dakota James Potts (Callie), and Hunter Seth Koyn (Madison Simpson); his daughter Saige Raeann Bowman (Watson Wantland); two grandchildren Ivan Bowman and Adalynn Koyn; his father Wayne Bowman (Esther), his mother Janice Anderson; his siblings Eric Martin (Jamie), Denny Bowman, Jenny Bowman, Gary Armstrong Jr; many nieces and nephews.
