Beulah Mae Perrin (1923-2012) passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on January 13, 1923 in Blackburn, Oklahoma to C.B. and Leota Milburn Perrin. Beulah Mae graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1945 with a degree in Education. She taught for Wetumka Public Schools before returning to OSU, where she earned a Master’s degree in 1954. She taught at Seminole Public Schools for over 20 years as an elementary teacher and reading specialist. She was recognized for outstanding service and retired from teaching in 1978. Beulah Mae was known for her artistic talent, crafts, cooking and sewing, and was a doting aunt and friend to many. She is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Pat Perrin of Tulsa; nieces Paula Steinmetz (Mike) and Pam Schloeder (Frank) of Tulsa; nephews Phil Perrin and Patrick Perrin (Debbie) of Houston; great-nieces and nephews: Krista (Tim), Marci (Joe), Bryan, Patricia, Mark and Lily. Beulah Mae’s family would like to thank Clarehouse for their wonderful care, and special thanks to Frank Schloeder and Beulah Mae’s wonderful neighbors – constant companions and angels by her side. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma, with Rev. Don Brown officiating, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clarehouse, 7617 S. Mingo Rd., Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74133., www.clarehouse.org, or a charity of choice.
