Wesley 'Roy' Meadows

Wesley “Roy” Meadows, 92 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Cleveland Manor Nursing Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Roy Meadows was born on March 30, 1928 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Ottie John and Mary Etta (Barker) Meadows. He worked in the oilfield; he worked for Osage County, and was an auctioneer. Roy loved to dance and enjoyed telling jokes and was a prankster. He enjoyed anything with horses; he broke horses for the army during WWII.

Roy is survived by: daughters, Diana and husband Randy Swain; Debra and husband Larry Deal; step-son, Jim Thornton and wife Gwen; grandchildren, Lacey and husband Kevin Stahle; Rayla Vincent and fiancé Chris Holmes; Stacy Thornton and wife Tracy; Kazia Brister and husband Chris; twelve great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Roy is preceded in death by: wife, Louise Meadows, parents, O.J. and Mary Meadows; brother, Dell; sisters, Anna Jean and Ruby; and infant sibling.

Services for Wesley Roy Meadows will be at 10:00AM, Friday, March 26, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Hominy, Oklahoma.
