Memorial services for Wanda Sue Chambers, 62, of Hominy, Oklahoma will be held Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Hominy, Oklahoma with Jerry Stumpff officiating. Cremation services are under the direction of Powell Funeral Home. Wanda passed away on February 25, 2013 at her residence. She was born October 4, 1950 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Neal Edward and Betty Joe (Higgins) Beattie. Wanda worked for the Town of Hominy as a dispatcher, meter reader and janitorial worker. She had made Hominy her home since 1975, where she attended the Nazarene Church. She is survived two sons: Randy Chambers and wife Melissa of Lewisburg, West Virginia; Jeff Chambers and wife Amberlie of Osage; four grandchildren: Troy, Weslie, Jerico, Riley, a sister Karen Volkman and husband Roley of Hominy; two brothers Bobby Beattie of Texas, Ralph Beattie and wife Judy of Cleveland, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Tammy, a brother Randy and a twin sister Mary. www.powellfuneralservice.com
