Funeral services for Shirley Jean Ray, 65, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Hominy, OK, with Pastor Kenny Christian officiating. Interment in A.J. Powell Cemetery is under the direction of Powell Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service are Todd Ray Jr., Randy Bill, Rusty Bill, Dan Donathan, Jason Donathan, Jimmy Deathrage and Mike Essley. Shirley passed away on March 20, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born April 26, 1947 in Hominy, Oklahoma to Albert and Lena Mae (Murray) Atkinson. Shirley was raised in Hominy and was graduate of Hominy High School. She moved to Tulsa when she was 18 where she made her home until her passing. Shirley worked as a financial counselor for Hillcrest Medical Center. She is survived by two sons: Todd Ray and wife Yvonne of Tulsa; Jeff Ray of Hominy; three grandchildren: Nicole Ray, Todd Ray and Tiffany Ray, and a sister Francis Donathan of Okmulgee.
