Ruby Mae Carman Obituary Ruby Mae Carman, age 85, of Pawhuska, Oklahoma passed away July 31, 2012 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Ruby is formerly of Hominy, Oklahoma; she grew up in Hominy and in the 1950's moved to Pawhuska. She was born March 21, 1927 in Gilbert, Arizona to John Franklin and Esther Mae (Hester) Clapper. Ruby married Elijah Carman; he preceded her in death on May 25, 1989. Ruby worked as a seamstress for Osage Ventures-Sewing Factory in Pawhuska and at Cupid in Hominy. Ruby is survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Elijah. Graveside services for Ruby were Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at A.J. Powell Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma with Bud Tibbles officiating.
