Robert Lee Hurd Obituary Robert Lee Hurd, 83, of Wynona, Oklahoma, passed away June 23, 2008 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was born July 11, 1924 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Milton and Eileen (Kearns) Hurd. On June 7, 1947 he married Ida M. McLaughlin who preceded him in death December 13, 2002. Robert had lived in Wynona for 80 years. He attended and graduated from Wynona Public Schools. Robert served in the United States Navy during WWII. Robert worked for a time for the FBI. He was a rancher and pipeliner-oil field worker. He was a member of the Wynona Assembly of God Church. He is survived by one daughter: Linda and husband Gary (Goober) Robinson of Wynona; three brothers: Bill Hurd, Matt Hurd and Joe Hurd of Wynona; one sister: Ruthie Hough of Owasso, Oklahoma; two grandchildren: Robert and wife Jami Robinson, Chase and wife Jennifer Robinson; two great grandchildren: Gage and Ally all of Wynona. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ida, daughter Kathy, brothers: Sebastian Hurd, Milton Hurd, Charles Hurd, Dick Hurd; sisters: Pauline Guffey, Roberta Harris, Elnora Double, Juanita Robedeaux and Nancy Guffey. Graveside service will be Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Downing officiating. Interment in the A.J. Powell Cemetery with military honors by the VFW 5th District Rifle Squad. Arrangements made with Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
