Robert Joseph Mcintosh

Robert Joseph McIntosh was born on June 27, 1942 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Benjiman C. McIntosh and Lena Vaughncelle Robedeaux. He passed from this life on Sunday, March 16, 2014 in Lexington, Oklahoma having reached the age of 71 years, 8 months, and 20 days, after a lengthy fight with diabetes. He lived in the Red Rock area and also resided in Oklahoma City. He was affiliated with the Otoe Baptist Church, and also the Native American Church through his children.

He lived life with simplicity and compassion for others, and enjoyed being around family. He was also an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed the annual encampment, and church.

Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends.



Robert was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Meril Hurst; great grandson, Lewis McIntosh; great granddaughter, Angel Audrey McIntosh, and brother, John Emmett McIntosh.

Services will be held at Noon, Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Otoe-Missouria Cultural Building, Red Rock, Oklahoma with the Native American Church, Otoe Chapter officiating. Interment will be at Otoe-Missouria Cemetery, Red Rock, Oklahoma.
