Peggy Ann Purcell Obituary Peggy Ann Purcell, 55, of Hominy died on April 16, 2008, at 2:05 p.m. at St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa after a long illness. Peggy was born to Homer Lee and Nellie (Moles) Purcell Sr., on December 29, 1952, at Hominy. Ms. Purcell was a life long resident of Hominy. She attended Hominy Public Schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Peggy was a hard working woman and had been employed at Munsingwear, Hominy Hospital, Hominy Nursing Home, Dick Connor Correctional Center and Total Stop. She was a devoted mother, sister and grandmother. She is survived by one son, Scott Purcell of Tulsa and six grandchildren who were her pride and joy- Breelyn, Bryce, Brittany, Scott, Dallas and Tabitha Purcell; two brothers, Homer Purcell of Hominy, Oklahoma and Norman Purcell of Cleveland, Oklahoma; nieces Raylyn Purcell of Tulsa, Mary Ann Bedient of Hominy, Frankie Mills of Jennings and Jennifer Holden of Cleveland; Nephew Paul Purcell of Cleveland, two aunts Dorothy Horn of Hominy and Peggy Sanford of Fulsom, California; an uncle Virgil Moles of Skiatook. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Raymond Purcell. Services were Monday, April 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Hominy with Rev. Mark Formby officiating. Eddie Horn did the eulogy. CD selections were Go Rest High on That Mountain , Wings of a Snow White Dove and The Old Rugged Cross. Casket bearers were Max Blankinship, Chris Clemishire, Eddie Horn, Clark Montgomery, Paul Purcell and Shawn Hunt. Interment was in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery, Hominy, Oklahoma. Arrangements were with the Powell Funeral Home, Hominy.
