Nathan Allen Rowland

Nathan Allen Rowland, 35 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Cleveland Area Hospital in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Nathan was born in Bakersfield, California on July 28, 1980 to Billy Ray and Sandra Lynn (Wyatt) Rowland. He moved to Hominy 21 years ago, and attended Hominy Public Schools and graduated from Hominy High School in 1999.

He worked as a Valve Technician for Horizon Valve Services in Hominy. Nathan thoroughly enjoyed his life. Most of all, he enjoyed being a Father to his daughter Preslee. He was a talented artist and enjoyed doing tattoos. He loved his job, and being outdoors with his pup, Piper. He was always joking around and wearing a smile. Nathan was a beloved Son, Father, Brother and Friend. He made everyone feel loved with his kind words and his warm prescence.

Nathan is survived by: Daughter, Preslee Monroe Sue Rowland of Hominy, Ok, Parents, Billy Ray Rowland of Bakersfield, California and Sandy Wyatt-Eckler of Hominy, Ok. Four siblings: Ashton Rowland of Broken Arrow, Ok, Jason Rowland of Hominy, Ok, Leslie Norris of Tulsa, Ok, and Briana Wyatt of Hominy, Ok, his Grandmother, Norma Pedigo of Hominy, Ok and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Nathan is preceded in death by: Grandmother, Peggy French and his two Grandfathers, Millard Rowland and Earl Wyatt.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Hominy, Ok with the Pastor Wayne Brown officiating. Pallbearers were: Shain Thomas, Cody Best, Wesley Watkins, Landon Casey, Jason Rowland and Chad Hall.
