Michelle Shelly Lea Horton Obituary Shelly Lea Horton 35, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away September 7, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shelly was born to James and Jeanie (Alexander) Horton on October 18, 1972 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was a life-long Hominy resident. She worked at the Pawnee County and Osage County Workshops. Shelly is survived by her mother Jeanie of the home; father James Horton of Hominy; two brothers- Brad Standridge of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Wesley Hickson of Hominy; one sister- Dana Standridge of Hominy and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother- Irene Alexander, paternal grandparents- Nemi and Ruby Horton. Graveside services were Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the A.J. Powell Cemetery Pavilion with Dan Edens officiating. Music selections Jesus Loves Me and You Are My Sunshine will be sung by Sonie Brown. CD selections In the Arms of An Angel and I Can Only Imagine. Casket bearers were Paul Purcell, Donnie Holder, Mark Ray, Dale Crenshaw, David Cooper and Jeff Alexander. The family entrusted the Powell Funeral Home with the arrangements.
