Mary Lucille “Lucy” Sallee, resident of Shidler, OK, passed from this life on Monday, May 2, 2022, at the age of 89, Mary was born October 17, 1932, in Fair Grove, Missouri to Homer Jim and Emma Jane (Johnson) Braden. Lucy grew up in and went to school in the Fair Grove area, where she not only completed four years of high school but also went to college. Lucy was a Special Ed Teacher for over 30 years in the Hillsborough County Florida area. Lucy enjoyed all her special children.

Lucy married Ray Arnold Tucker in 1951. they had three children, son, Raymond A Tucker: daughter, Brenda L Tucker, and son, David A Tucker. Lucy married Robert Edward Sallee in 1974. Lucy has spent the last five years of her life in the home of her niece, Susie Braden Ricketts in Shidler, OK.

Lucy was survived by her niece, Susie Ricketts and husband; one son, David Tucker; two half siblings, James Braden and Linda Howe. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two children, Raymond Tucker, Brenda Tucker: her siblings, Geraldene Rogers, Lela Sullenger, Emma Isaacs, Helen Mowell, Lewis Braden, Lawrence Braden, William Braden, Jackie Braden, Larry Braden. Lucy will be having a private memorial service in Shipman Cemetery, in Christian County, Missouri,

The family wants to show appreciation to Ponca Alliance Home Health, Pawhuska Clinic, Heather Arronington, PA; Jessica Cartwright, PA; nurses and staff; Good Shepherd Hospice for all they did to help Lucy during the last days of her life.
