Maggie Irene Cross Obituary Graveside services for Maggie Irene Cross, 89 of Bartlesville, Oklahoma were held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 20, 2009 at A.J. Powell Cemetery in Hominy, with Pat Haley officiating. Services were under the direction of Powell Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service were Henry Daiz Jr., Mike Fields, Michael W. Fields, Steven Daiz, Tom Carel and Danny Gibson. Musical selections for the service were The Old Rugged Cross , In The Garden and When I Touch Calvary . Maggie passed away February 16, 2009 in Dewey, Oklahoma. She was born May 31, 1919 in Gray Horse, Oklahoma to Fredrick and Lederdia (Shook) Moore. She married Gonzales P. Cross on September 4, 1933 in Hominy, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on December 7, 1981. Maggie was raised in Hominy, and had been a long time resident of Bartlesville where she was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Maggie was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by three children: Floyd Cross of Bartlesville; Helen Gibson of Pawhuska; Roy Cross of Hulah, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two brothers: LeRoy Moore of Chouteau, Oklahoma; Fred Moore of Shingletown, California; and one sister Violet Lowe of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two children: G.P. Jr. Cross, Della Daiz, one granddaughter, eight brothers and one sister.
