Liney Earl Tilley Obituary Liney E. Tilley, 93 long-time Prue resident passed away March 31, 2009 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He was born September 22, 1915 in Marshall, Arkansas to Boston R. and Lavina (Pruitt) Tilley. Liney attended Prue schools, and had several jobs during his life. He worked for the tent factory during the war, did some farming, worked at a mill, ran a filling station, and worked for National Tank as a pipefitter. On June 25, 1938 he married Leo Tilley in Rock Springs, Arkansas, she preceded him in death on April 15, 2008. To this union 3 children were born, Geneva Chenvert of Disney, Charlotte Loomiller of Owasso, and Sammy Earl Tilley of Tulsa. 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and one sister Nora Patterson of El Reno, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 7 brothers and sisters. Funeral services for Liney will be Friday, April 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Prue. Rev. Garry McDevitt and Bill Lay will officiate the service, musical selections will be Sheltered in the arms of God and I want to stroll over heaven with you . Music will be sung by Geneva Chenvert, Jackie Henley and James Jackson. Casket bearers will be Randy Cooper, Travis Tilley, Kevin Foster, Dwin Thompson, Craig Loomiller and Charles Chenvert. Burial will be at the Prairie View cemetery in Prue. The family entrusted Powell Funeral Home, Hominy with the arrangements.
