Linda Kay Laird LeForce passed away from this life on September 9, 2013 in her home in Pawnee surrounded by family. Linda was born to Harold Page and Alwilda(Trussell) Laird on July 25, 1948 in Pawnee, OK . She was a member of the Pawnee High School Class of 1966. She also attended Diamond Laird and Victor schools in grade school. Linda was an employee of the First National Bank of Pawnee for 36 years and the Pawnee Stockyards/Pawnee Livestock Sales for over 15 years as an office manager. She was also involved in the community by serving on the Pawnee Nation Tribal Housing Board, Pawnee Alumni Committee, secretary of the softball booster club and numerous other committees and organizations over the years. Linda was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her family. She attended every activity she could that her children and grandchildren were participants. She was a true Pawnee Black Bear and Lady Bear fan. She loved watching football, softball, baseball, wrestling, cheerleading and basketball. She would even take vacation just so she would not miss a game. Linda enjoyed singing, which included the church choir, a trio and glee club. She had a beautiful soprano voice. She loved singing to her grandbabies. Linda is survived by her mother, Alwilda Laird of Morrison, her sister, Vonnie Robbins and husband, Wayne of South Dakota, and her brother, Dr. Gordon Laird and wife, Sherri of Morrison, OK. Surviving are three daughters, Robyn Domeny and husband, Robert of Pawnee, Hope Roberts and husband, Travis of Pawnee, and Holly Brien and husband, T.J. of Pawnee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Trenton Roberts, Kendra Roberts Bruce and husband, Allen, Hunter Roberts and wife, Sheyenne, Erika Roberts, Keely Roberts, Cordell Domeny and Luke Roberts. Five great grandsons, Tison Roberts, Ryken Roberts, Preston Bruce, Johnny Roberts and baby boy Bruce, who is due September 25th. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her father, Major Harold Page Laird, and her grandparents. Services will be September 11, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Pawnee, OK at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Okahoma. In memory of Linda, donations can be made to the Pawnee Lady Bear Softball Boosters to repair the score board.
