Lester Trinkle

Lester Earl Trinkle joined his beloved wife, Louise, in Heaven on April 14, 2013. He was born on July 8, 1918 in Ralston Oklahoma to John William Trinkle and Jennie Rebecca Krow Trinkle. He attended Ralston Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1936. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher, but also worked for Champlin Refining Company for over forty years. He married Miss Louise Glass in Oklahoma City in 1938, and they celebrated over sixty six years of marriage prior to her death. His interests and hobbies were many, but his passions were only two, family and farming. Lester is survived by: Daughter:Ethel Trinkle Werblo Daughter-in-law:Shirley Trinkle 2 Grandchildren:Pamela Kay Kidwell Arthur Earl Trinkle 5 Great-Grandchildren plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. Besides his wife, Louise, he was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Howard Leon, sister Loetta Sanders, and his son John Howard Trinkle. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the First Osage Baptist Church, 236 S. Main Street, Fairfax, Oklahoma with Pastor Brent Smith officiating, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma. His family welcomes the community and all that knew and loved him to attend and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ralston Riverside Cemetery or Ralston Senior Citizen’s Center in memory of Lester Trinkle, P. O. Box 148, Ralston, OK 74650.
