Larry Lee Orr Obituary Larry Lee Orr, 62 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, July 02, 2014 at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, OK. Larry was born in Paris, Henry County, Tennessee on August 02, 1951 to J.W. and Thelma (Solmon) Orr. He served in the Army 1971-1973 during the Viet Nam Conflict and was Honorably Discharged. He married his wife, Sandra Jean Smith on April 22, 1977, she preceded him in death August 14, 2008. They came to live in Hominy in 1984. Larry worked as a truck driver. He is survived by 3 children: Nikki Orr of Lewisville, TX, Heath Orr of Grand Prairie, TX and Jeneen Cowan of Tulsa, OK; 5 Grandchildren: Darian Prochaska, Ethan Troy, Kaden Cowan, Zoe Orr and Dawson Orr; and 1 sister, Brenda Henderson of Hazel, KY. Larry is preceded in death by: his parents, wife Sandra, his daughter Angie Van Wickler, and sister Linda Parris. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Hominy, OK, with Jerry Ballard officiating. Taped music selections were "Angels Among Us" by Alabama and "When I Get to Where I'm Going" by Brad Paisley. Pallbearers were Chris Stevens, Ethan Troy, Jo Henderson, Chris Prochaska and Dakota Doyle. Burial followed at A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery.
