Jimmie Burshik

Jimmie Burshik was born on February 23, 1926 in Perry Oklahoma to Stella Moran Burshik and Florn Burshik. He passed from this life on Friday, March 1, 2013 in Fairfax, Oklahoma having reached the age of 87 years, and 8 days. He married Roberta “Betty” Elizabeth Jane Capstick and she preceded him in death on December 21, 2010 Jimmie is survived by: Daughters: Sally Mollica, Enid, Oklahoma; and Nancy Beaman, Orange, California; 4 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren Sister: Rosie Perkins, Conroe, Texas 3 Stepsons:James Turner & his wife, Jeannine & their children, Shelby Pratt-Miller & her husband, Tony & Becca, Okemah, Oklahoma Joe Turner & his wife Melissa, & their children, Marcy, Tori, Sophie & Libby, Okemah, Oklahoma Daniel F. Turner, Jr., Pawnee, Oklahoma Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. Besides his wife, Betty, he was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charlie Burshik; and two sisters, Mary Cooper and Christina Shields. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
