Jerry Dee Baker Jerry Dee Baker, 72, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed away on June 17, 2014 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. Jerry was born on July 22, 1941 to Troy and Floy (Gray) Baker in Cushing, Oklahoma. He worked as a commercial and residential painter and was a Navy veteran. He is survived by 3 children: Sherry Dee Baker of Mustang, OK, Dana Renee Metheny and her husband, Dee, of Edmond, OK and Ross Allen Payne and his wife, Angela Christine, of Wheaton, IL; 2 Grandchildren: Dustin Wooten and Amber Crawford; 4 Great-Grandchildren: Grace, Zach, Chloe and Aiden; 2 sisters: Betty Bendler of Wyandotte, OK and Pat Pollock of Spavinaw, OK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by: his parents; 2 brothers: Dink Baker and Donnie Baker; a sister, Bonnie Peebles; and a Granddaughter, Jordan Dee Metheny. Funeral services will be held graveside at Prairie View Cemetery in Prue, Oklahoma, Friday, July 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Carl Brown officiating. Musical selections will be "Go Rest High That Mountain" and "Amazing Grace". Vocalist, Mark Mullins, will sing "No More Tears in Heaven".
