Jeanie Horton Obituary Jeanie Horton, age 67 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at her residence. Jeanie was born January 28, 1946 to Marcus James and Irene (Spears) Alexander at Hominy, Oklahoma. She was a life long resident of Hominy. Jeanie worked at Munsingwear, M & J Grocery as a cashier, and for 30 years as a caregiver. Jeanie was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Cleveland. Jeanie is survived by a daughter- Dana Standridge of Hominy, 2 sons- Brad Standridge and wife Dashea of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Wesley Hickson and wife Regina of Hominy, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren- Tyler, Kylie and Gracie Standridge, and Alexis and Jordan Sutton; 3 great, grandchildren- Kiercy and Allie Hickson and Thomas Casey; 8 siblings: Ina Ruth Thrasher, James Alexander, John Alexander, Phyllis Crenshaw, Donald Alexander, Norma Ray, Raymond Alexander and Deborah Purcell; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Michelle. Funeral Services were Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Hominy, Assembly of God Church at 2:00 p.m. with Dan Edens, Pastor officiating. Pall Bearers were Dale Crenshaw, Jeff Alexander, Paul Purcell, Gary Alexander, Matthew Holder and Wes Hickson and Honorary Pall Bearers were David Cooper and Jason May. Vocalist, Janice Day sang "I'll Fly Away" and "Amazing Grace." Interment was in the A.J. Powell Cemetery under the directions of Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma. www.powellfuneralservice.com
