James Douglas Glascox Sr. Obituary James Douglas Glascox Sr., 72 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away January 18, 2009 at his residence in Hominy. He was born April 16, 1936 in Newellton, Louisiana to Hubert and Dorothy (Muse) Glascox. James had married Sara Vivian Shorter who preceded him in death. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a truck driver. He had only lived in Hominy for the past year. He is survived by four sisters- Mary Martin of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Karen Moody of Ada, Oklahoma; Betty Martin and Myrtis Page both of Hominy, Oklahoma; one daughter- Sarah Wyatt of Louisiana; two sons- James Douglas Glascox Jr., of Maryland and Joe Glascox of Ohio; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Sara. Private family services were planned under the direction of the Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
