Jacqueline Harlow Howell Obituary Jacqueline (Jackie) Howell, 83 of Wynona, Oklahoma passed away August 16, 2008 in Yucca Valley, California. She was born to John Newton and Thelma (Hinson) Harlow on August 20, 1924 in Wynona, Oklahoma. Jacqueline married Preston M. Howell on February 25, 1949 at First Baptist Church, Wynona, Oklahoma. She had lived in the Yucca Valley for the past 3 years. She was a homemaker, a member of the Wynona First Baptist Church, and a lifetime member of the WFW. Her hobbies were working with ceramics, especially painting Indian lamps and vases. She is survived by two daughters- Thelma Howell-DeBrum of Lake Isabella, California and Velma (Chee Chee) Howell-Holt of Hesperia, California; eight grandchildren- Jolinda Clark of Oliva Simi Valley, California, Tohnia Clark of Fields Nipomo, California, Preston Spencer of Pawhuska, Raymond Holt of Germany, Jacqueline Spencer of Wynona, Kelli Holt of Texas, Sonia Spencer of Wynona and Ricky Holt Jr., of Yucca Valley, California. Twenty-one great grandchildren with seven attending services- Crystal Williams of Pawhuska, Tennay Thompson of Ojai, California, Josh Spencer, Jeremy Spencer, Jonathan and Brody Spencer of Pawhuska and Cynnomon Lot of Wynona; and a sister- Juanita Harlow Cox and brother- John N. Harlow Jr., and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents- Thelma & John Harlow, husband- Preston M. Howell, daughter- Zelma Lee Spencer, sons-in-law- Gilbert Spencer and Tom Clark, great granddaughter- Adrian Spencer, great grandson- Tommy Spencer and sister- Josephine Elrod. Services will be Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Wynona with Pastor David Boyer officiating. Pianist will be Tennie Sloan and vocalist Barbara Hurd. Music selection will be In the Garden. Casket bearers will be Preston Spencer, Josh Spencer, Jeremy Spencer, Jonathan Spencer, Stephen Edwards and Chad Hayes. Burial will be in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery, Hominy. The family entrusted the Powell Funeral Home with arrangements.
