Helen Marie Moreland

Helen Marie Moreland, 90 years, of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in Fairfax, Oklahoma. Memorial services are still pending at this time. 

Mrs. Moreland was born September 3, 1928 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Lloyd McWhirt and Dora Strike Axe. She graduated from Santa Monica High School. Helen worked at R.K.O. studios mail room, and later Merril-Lynch. Then becoming a special education teachers aide. After retirement she tutored English to immigrants and volunteered at the Santa Teresita Hospital. 

Helen is survived by: son, Kieth Moreland; grandchildren, Stephen, Devon, Hana, and Tanner; stepchildren, Carolyn and Kenneth

Helen is preceded in death by: husband, Ralph in 1969; long-time companion Louis Ripple in 2009
