Hazel Loraine Eddings Obituary Hazel Loraine Eddings, 84, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 in Cleveland, Oklahoma. She was born May 13, 1926 in Hominy, Oklahoma to Tom and Annie (Gage) Dornan. She attended Hominy schools and graduated in 1944. She married Jerry Eddings December 7, 1956. They were happily married for 54 years. Their union was blessed with one son, Bill who preceded her in death. Hazel was a homemaker and loved to cook. She was totally devoted to her family and loved cooking for them from her collection of 100 cookbooks. Hazel saw good and beauty in everything. Hazels sweet spirit always showed in her sweet smile and kind words. Hazel is survived by her loving husband Jerry of the home, 2 nephews- Gerald and Tony Webb, 2 nieces- Pat Luman and Leann Murphy and other grand nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Bill, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Graveside services were held Monday, December 13, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at A.J. Powell Cemetery Hominy, Oklahoma with Rev. Carl Brown officiating. Taped music played was How Great Thou Art and Amazing Grace . Interment was in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
