Grady Michael "Chub" Goodman Obituary Grady Michael Goodman better known as "Chub", age 52, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at his residence in Osage, Oklahoma. Grady was born November 11, 1961 to Grady Lee and Minnie M. (Huckabee) Goodman at Butler, Alabama. He graduated from Prue Schools in 1980. Chub went to Vo-Tech and learned to build Computers and worked at the Bank of Oklahoma doing computer networking and programming. He was a pumper and a great welder, and took pride in his work. Chub loved hunting and fishing. He was a long time resident of Osage, Oklahoma, he was an ordained minister and member of the First Baptist Church, Prue, Oklahoma. Chub loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He was proud of each and every one of them. He was survived by 8 children: Christina Kirchner and husband Bradley of Cushing, Oklahoma, Ashley Haviland and Thomas Goodman both of Hominy, Oklahoma, Steven Peters of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Mandi Durasso and husband Dusty of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Candice Sanders and husband Bradley of Osage, Oklahoma, Shelby McAffrey and husband Brandon of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Victoria Goodman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren; 6 siblings: Terry Parten and wife Cindy of Saraland, Alabama, Sherry Davidson and husband Shine of Gladewater, Texas, Julia Tyson and husband Ronnie of Butler, Alabama, Mary Norman and husband Greg of Mannford, Oklahoma, Stephanie Garrison and husband James of Havelock, North Carolina and Riley Goodman of Jacksonville, Florida. Chub was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Aubree Payge Haviland. Funeral Services for Chub were Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Prue, Oklahoma, First Baptist Church with Rev. Garry McDevitt officiating. Music selections were "Amazing Grace", "Down to the Water to Pray", "Precious Memories", "In the Garden", and "Been Through the Water". Pall Bearers were Brad Sanders, Thomas Goodman, Brandon McAffrey, David Casey, Ray Smith, Caleb Smith, Jerry Don Bullard, Junior Owens and honorary pall bearers Terry Parten, Ronnie Tyson, Riley Goodman and Steven Peters. Interment was in the Osage Cemetery, Osage, Oklahoma under the direction of Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma. Online memorials may be left at powellfuneralservice.com.
