Grace Duff Tensfield

Grace O. Tensfield was born on October 19, 1912 in Maramec, Oklahoma to Elmo Earl Duff and Mollie Lena Binkley Duff. She passed from this life on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Linwood Village, Cushing, Oklahoma having reached the age of 99 years, 10 months, and 10 days. She married Roy C. “Mike” Tensfield on January 11, 1936 in Maramec, Oklahoma and they moved to Levelland Texas in 1949 and moved back to Maramec in 1973. She was affiliated with the Maramec United Methodist Church, and loved to play pitch, enjoyed cooking, and going to Colorado to spend the summers. She was very active in community events, and especially loved going to the Maramec Senior Citizens. Grace is survived by: Son:Jim Tensfield & his wife, Jan, Bloomfield, New Mexico 2 Grandsons:Jon Tensfield, Bloomfield, New Mexico Jerry Tensfield & his wife, Shannon, Aztec, New Mexico Nieces:Doris Clowdus, Wichita Falls, Texas Jane Ann Steward, Amarillo, Texas Nephews:Bob Stafford, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Mike Stafford, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Marvin Duff, Midland, Texas Very Special Friends:Rex & Gladys Carter, Maramec, Oklahoma Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Maramec, Oklahoma, with Rev. Jeff Kuhn officiating, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Maramec Senior Citizens, P. O. Box 82, Maramec, Oklahoma, 74045.
