Glenda Faye Smith

Glenda Faye Smith, 82 years, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at her home in Hominy, Oklahoma.

Glenda was born on November 11, 1935 to James E. and Jesse Louise (Crum) Seymore. She graduated from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Glenda married Lee R Smith on August 17, 1962 in Tulsa. They were married 42 years before he sadly passed away on December 19, 2005. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hominy. Glenda worked as a secretary for Chouteau Elementary School, the Skelly Oil Company, both in Tulsa, and went on to retire from the City of Tulsa. Glenda's life was oriented around her boys and was very active with constant ball games and taking care of her husband and children. When the grandchildren arrived, life circled around them. Family was everything.

Glenda is survived by: 2 sons: Steve Smith and his wife, Patsy, of Mentor, OH and Jeff Smith of Hominy, OK; 1 sister: Carole Seymore-Hill of Hominy, OK; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Glenda is preceded by: her parents; her husband, Lee R Smith; and her son: Lee Kent Everidge.

The memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 8, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Hominy.
