Florence McDonald Obituary Florence McDonald, age 95 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away December 12, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Florence was born to Franklin Lawrence and Ida (Ilso Olson) Granbois November 26, 1914 at Halerbrite, Province of Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Canada. Florence married Richard McDonald February 28, 1953 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Florence went to school in Canada and Wisconsin. After marrying Richard they moved to Murrieta, California. She was active in the V.F.W., being President of the Ladies Auxiliary Post #4089 for 3 year in Temecula, California. Florence had retired; she was a pay roll clerk. She moved to Hominy in 2005, she loved to travel and visiting and loving her friends and neighbors. Florence is survived by two brothers- Coleman Granbois and wife Lavern of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Arman Granbois and wife Daphne of Cobble Hill, Canada; two sisters- Iva DePauw of Burnaby, Canada and Joyce Hannusch of White Rock, Canada. She had several nieces and nephews and close friends and providers- Jack and Merrita Smith of Hominy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Richard McDonald, two brothers- Wallace L. Granbois and Maurice E. Granbois. Private family service planned.
